Good bye Easter decor, hello new floor!

The painters are DONE! They've been working on our master bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room the past few days. I've been trying to take pictures of completed rooms, but just when one room finishes, we have to fill it with furniture from another room! I did get a picture of the family room, as we were bringing some furniture back in. (below).
We got a few quotes for wood floors, and we're having those installed on Thursday! YAY! BUT, that also means we have to empty the family room and kitchen; again. We're going to put wood floors in our main living areas and down the halls, and large 18 inch tile in the entry, kitchen, laundry room (attached to kitchen and back door to the garage), and bathrooms. We're hoping it's what buyers will want to see, and we'll see some of that money when we sell. I told Edwin that it was making me sad to make our house so nice, and then sell the house! Hopefully we'll get what we're asking for the house, and we'll find a new house we both love! I won't worry about that yet.  Here are some pictures, because pictures are fun and help bring life to words!

The finished paint; yay! (It was green-ish before)

And the "after". This picture doesn't have our mirror back up yet

And the family room today. Taken over again

Washer and dryer in our kitchen. No laundry today!

Here are the floor samples we're getting. We love the darker wood, and warm 18 inch tile!

So, we will obviously have even more after pictures, once the floors are put down! One mess done, another begins...
