Mod Podge Mania

Over at This is The yearthere's a little mod podge party! I really wanted to be able to create something new, but there's just too much going on this week! I've been painting all our trim and baseboards in the house, some doors, and great new shelves Edwin built in our laundry room (I'll post after pictures once we're done!) Edwin and I are heading out of town tonight, so I'm trying to get all the laundry done today and things in order before we leave. SOOOOO, here's a little mod podge project I did after Easter! It was my first attempt, so it's not great; but I'm proud! haha.

I bought a plain white Easter sign on clearance at Hobby Lobby, and found some scrapbooking paper for $.40.
I haven't perfected the mod podge technique, but I'm getting there!

If you're crafty or want to be crafty, check out Xazmin at This is the Year, for more mod podge inspiration!

  4. Too cute! My friend Mikael and I are mod podge crazy. Every Friday before leaving work we say to each other "Happy Mod Podging this weekend"...lol. She's been using the mod podge technique on wooden bracelets. It's fun isn't it?

  9. Great sign! How nice to find a sign with such fun letters that are joined. I make word signs all the time but out of individual letters, so I really like that aspect of yours.
