Do you like to cook and bake a lot? Maybe you don't necessarily "like" to, but being a mama or wife, puts you in that role?! Here is a list of my have kitchen tools, that are essential! Take a peak at Sweetlifeaswife for other ideas!
Pop over to my cooking blog and check my latest recipe; Apple Ginger Pork chops found HERE
1. My Crock Pot. I don't really use this a lot, but I use it for soups, roast, and bbq. My husband and I aren't really a fan of chicken in the crockpot, so I don't use it for chicken recipes!
2. My super large skillet. I use this ALOT. Its ginormous. I use this when I'm frying pork chops or chicken, and need all the meat to fit in 1 pan!
I hope that might help if you're looking for some cooking inspiration! I"m linked to Welcome Wednesday from Take It From Me. Hop on over if you're looking for more mom's!
3. My gorgeous red mixer
4. Tons of spoons. I routinly use 3 or more spoons while making dinner. When you have multiple pots or skillets going, you need to make sure you have enough spoons!
Great list Michelle! I'm curious what you use your meat tenderizer for though so often...maybe a dumb question??
ReplyDeleteLet's see; we have the same mixer, same dutch oven (but different color). I so so need a bigger food processor; and I am totally going to get that meat tenderizer!
ReplyDeleteGreat post!

Amazing collection! I just bought a new home two days ago and I would like to buy such accessories for my new kitchen.
ReplyDeleteYay for a wondrous list! I want to get the glass bowl for the kitchenaid. I love the silver, but there's just something about the glass bowl that is amazing and beautiful to me!
ReplyDeleteI'm registered for a food processor and a dutch oven... As much as I can't wait to marry J, I also can't wait to have a kitchen full of cooking tools that complete my collection!
sara, I use the tenderizer every time I use chicken, steak, or pork chops! It helps the meat not be tough, and since it pokes tiny holes in it, it soaks up any marinaide or juice you use with it!
ReplyDeletei Would love the tenderizer!
ReplyDeleteI am following you from the blog hop, you have a great site. Would you like to follow me back? Susan's Family
thank you :)
I don't bake, I really don't find time, but I have to cook the meals for us. Even though there's only three (me, hubby and daughter) I would rather eat takeaway every night!!

What a great list! The only difference I have is a bamboo cutting board and a corian cutting board. The corian is the best!

ReplyDeleteI would say my most essential kitchen tool is my crock pot. I love having my meals cooking all day, the smell as it cooks is great and knowing I am not going to be rushing at meal time is great.
